About Me
Here’s a little bit o’ info about me:
I like just about anything that deals with computers technology. I’m a pretty big geek and I love the history of the modern personal computer. I love reading books on the subject. I read “Hackers” by Steven Levy and “Fire in the Valley” by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine.
I help out a lot with the Georgia 4-H Tech Team. A friend and I administer several online tools for them; a message board, a blog, a photo gallery. I enjoy hanging out with the team members and talking geek with them. We’ve even managed to turn some of them into kick ass admins.
I like to read…a lot. Well, I read a lot when I have a lot of spare time. I like to play video games, movies, writing, collect gadgets and computer stuff, music, and some other stuff. I play guitar and french horn/mellophone. I even marched in the University of Georgia Redcoat Band while in college. I was also a member of the UGA Basketball Band and numerous concert bands as well.
I’m getting pretty dangerous at Guitar Hero. I’ve beaten most of the series on “hard”. I haven’t quite made the jump to “expert” yet. I love to play Rock Band; I really dig the drums. I also dig the Wii and old Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Mario Kart, etc. Always have, always will.
I’ve recently gotten back into playing PlayStation. I got a PS3 a few weeks ago and I’ve been sucked into GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid 4. In fact, I’m enjoying MGS4 so much I’ve even went and bought the old MGS games so I can play them too. Add me to your buddy list. My PSN ID is colonelpannik.
I have two parents who have somehow managed to put up with me since birth. I have a sister that I live with. She loves animals; especially rabbits. We currently live with 4 rabbits; Frank, Steve, Mark Twain and Phoenix. She also has two rats named Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde. I have a brother who is 12 years younger than me and is pretty cool to hang out with.
